By Magaly • Apr 11, 2017
This wonderful apartment of matte wood floors and large, illuminated spaces is located in Modolell Street, in Barcelona, Spain. It was designed by in 2016 and has a well-used living area of 250 square meters. The living room and dining room are separated by a beautiful white brick fireplace.
In the living room, two comfortable and modern sofas face the fireplace. Behind them is a small balcony with wonderful views of the Catalonian city.
On the other side of the fireplace is a dining room made of wood, and over which hangs a modern and beautiful layered lamp.
The kitchen, a comfortable space full of light, was done in white and wood with a black countertop. At the far end is a modern and informal dining room, intended more for breakfasting, in combination with the kitchen. In a small independent room is located the laundry area.
Two steps separate the lounge area from the stairs – a staircase that rises up in a beautifully Mediterranean style, elegant and stately, with its white steps made using a wooden base.
At the next level, the same decorative style is maintained, and wood is used in combination with white, creating a composition that is simple, fresh, and delicate.
